ICT LITERACY

 ICT literacy is using digital technology, communications tools,  networks to access, conduct, combine, estimate, and create information in order to function in a knowledge society.( ETS, 2003 )

Components of ICT literacy

Access - knowing about and knowing how to gather  information. 

Manage -  classification plan. 

Integrate - interpreting and representing information. It involves condensing, comparing and contrasting.

 Evaluate - making judgments about the quality, connection, usefulness of information.

Create - generating information by applying, designing, creating.
